Welcome to Shakti The Divine Woman

Hii! I am Kajal, Owner and Founder of Shakti The Divine Woman and mom to 4 amazing kids, a shameless selfie Queen and a hoarder of all things make up and fashion related. 

I work a full time job at an IP (Intellectual Property) Law Firm and I am a qualified Project Manager.  Shakti The Divine Woman is my escape from reality. Here I get to be the creative, crazy, wild pro make up artist that I am. I spent a lot of time searching for my passion and when I did find it, I realized that following that dream was where the real fun and challenge began. 

I acted impulsively one day and decided to create a Facebook Business Page to showcase my make up skills, which was really only pictures of myself with make up, and that was where my big break, as a make up artist came in, the power of social media is relentless. The rest as they say, is history. I needed to create a name for my business and as that was not the best time of my life, I looked to my creator for inspiration and in that moment Shakti The Divine Woman was born. A name that has so much of Universal Power (be sure to read up on the Union of Shiva Shakti) but also a name that held dear those close to my heart, the initials to everyone in our home and my dedication to my beautiful daughter.

Inspired by my love for make up, beauty, fashion and skin care, I have split my time between each. As a self taught make up artist I realized I can never stop learning, I enrolled myself at the London International School of Fashion where I graduated with a Diploma in Advanced Make up. I then went on to study Beauty and Skin Therapy, Dermaplaning and Facial Therapy.

My goal is to bring to my customers my own creation of skin care under my brand, which I am currently working on, so be sure to look out in future for Shakti The Essence of Skin: Your skin will love it, my very own skin care brand.  I hope you will like what you see here and be inspired by how they could work for you.
